A note from our founder
I’m Chandan Kaushik, CPA, founder of Joy Visits. I started Joy Visits around a simple idea: a friendly face and time spent doing something you enjoy can brighten the day. Our visits complement family relationships and make room for the interests, stories, and activities that matter to each person.
Prepared around your loved one
Before confirming a visit, we discuss age, interests, language, comfortable activities, and scheduling. Senior visits may include conversation, reading, music, or a shared game. Children’s activity visits may include crafts, stories, puzzles, or building projects agreed with a parent or guardian.
Background checks and thoughtful matching
We check the backgrounds of all caregivers before they provide visits. We consider interests, language preferences, the agreed activities, and availability when arranging a companion. We confirm the visit plan with you before booking.
Clear expectations
Our focus is nonmedical companionship and activity-based engagement. We discuss service boundaries, household preferences, supervision arrangements where relevant, and pricing in advance. We may decline, suspend, or end service when we cannot provide a suitable visit or when safety or conduct concerns arise, consistent with applicable law and any existing agreement.
