Can companionship complement support my parent already receives?
Yes, the service focuses on social connection. It can be discussed alongside existing support, with clear boundaries so a companion does not take on nursing, personal care, or safety supervision.
Companionship for adults age 60 and older
Joy Visits serves people age 60+. The age requirement applies to the person receiving visits. Family members and other authorized contacts of any adult age may inquire on their behalf.
What a companionship visit can include

Planning visits in Anaheim
We are accepting clients. The regular rate is $75 per hour; the discounted rate is $40 per hour with a two-hour minimum ($80 per visit). Availability, activities, and service arrangements are confirmed before visits begin. An inquiry is not a booking.
Is companionship the right kind of support?
Social companionship is intended for connection and shared activities. It does not replace nursing, therapy, personal care, or continuous supervision. If an older adult needs help with bathing, toileting, transfers, medication, or staying safe alone, a different provider may be appropriate.
